Hi everyone.....just joined here Smile

I am in my mid 50's and am on the hunt for a detailed retirement planning calculator as I want to be sure I am on track.

All the calculators I have seen so far just do not account for my circumstances.

I moved from the UK to USA 15 years ago with the result I will have multiple income sources when I retire:

A UK defined benefit employer pension
UK Govt retirement pension (starting at age 67)
USA Social Security (planning on taking at age 70)

Additionally I have a 401K and also have a Roth IRA...

Needs assistance for cra tax audit in Toronto.
posted by: richardbaker @ Fri Jan 12, 2018 9:34 am
Hi guys,
Last day, I received a notice from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) informing me that I'm going to be audited. I'm totally tensed in this situation. My father died in a car accident last year. After that, I'm taking care of all the assets and business.

I would like to consult some professionals who could help me out in this matter before the official procedures. In my search, I came across a company offering help for cra tax audit inToronto.

I would like to hear more about them from you. Have you ever approached them for any aud...

Order of Returns Risk and Portfolio simulations
posted by: kennyw @ Thu Jan 11, 2018 7:24 pm
I've been reading a couple of books on retirement planning, "How Much Can I Spend In Retirement," Pfau; and "The Simple Path To Wealth," Collins. I'm fascinated with the idea of Order of Returns Risk and simulations based on historical returns in the market.

I've done some simulations on my portfolio. Its a small sample size, only 90 years of data , mirroring the S&P 500 beginning in 1928 and sequentially running over a 40 year life expectancy (that would make me 99 at death -ha!). So, the number of simulations are not statistically ...

KB Home (NYSE:KBH) Soars On Earnings, Here Is The Target
posted by: inthemoneystock @ Thu Jan 11, 2018 6:48 pm
Shares of KB Home (NYSE:KBH) jumped sharply higher after reporting better-than-expected earnings and upped guidance for the coming year. The home builder saw its stock jump over 11% in trading on Thursday, moving above the $38.00 level. With KB Home stock up almost 100% since September, investors are wondering if now is the time to take profits and possibly short. Based on chart analysis, the target for this current move is $41.00. In other words, there is still another almost $3.00 upside before the risk/reward is in the seller's favor. I will...

2017 turned out to be a pretty banner year for investors and America as an entire.
