My wife and I are celebrating our twenty-fifth wedding anniversary this month. Our oldest child is now a freshman in college and our youngest is a sophomore in high school. The financial planning issues that were important during the first half of our marriage become critical as a couple enters the second half.

What I'm looking for is an article on the THIRD half of marriage, that's where we are looking now. That's when most of the money you had saved up to get through the second half runs out.

To just get married seems to be expensive! I've been to 3 weddings so far and they ranged from 10 to 25K to put on-- eloping might be for me so I can actually pay for any PART of my future marriage!
