labor union tax structure  Reply with quote

Can a labor union be considered a tax-exempt, non-profit? And, if so, are union dues therefore tax deductible?

Unions dues are deductible on Schedule A in the section "Job Expenses and Certain Miscellaneous Deductions." These are deductible only to the expent they exceed two percent of your AGI.
