Prostitution: Should it be Legal?  Reply with quote

The only place I know of where you can legally do it is Nevada (because of Las Vegas). Do people have a problem with it. Should it stay illegal - should it be allowed?

I've had some supervisors who know the going rate in Germany. My understanding is there is a debait about whether gals should lose their unemployment for turning down prostution jobs as it is legal in Germany.

Does it really matter? Even though it's illegal, don't people just do it anyways? Just doesn't seem to make that much of a difference to me if it's legal or illegal.

Is there much difference in paying someone outright for sex or having them leech it from you over time? Lets face it, if you sleep around for some benefit other than you just enjoying it, it doesn't really matter if you call it prostitution or not. People will always do it, so it should be legal.

although, I agree not everywhere. I don't want this going on near my kids school for example, or next door to the neighborhood playground, but at some sort of designated safe zone. And the benefit of it being legal, you could test people monthly for stds and diseases.

I believe that in Amsterdam prostitution is also legal. Even in Bangkok, Thailand, where AIDS is rampant, a red light district is a known tourist attraction. I can see that countries are legalizing the flesh trade on their own accord.

And this may be the worst unnessary bumping. If it becomes legal can Jerry Springer run for public office again?

How can someone bump an old thead? Has the internet reall been around that long?
