I assume you're talking about the sites in your sig? Are you getting a good amount of traffic? Try blending your adsense units in with your page better. Use the same color scheme and make it look like part of your content. You don't want your ads to stick out like a sore thumb.

Move your ads higher up the page, if possible and, like fultron said, try blending the border/background of the unit with the background color of your page. Also isn't that the narrower of the skyscraper formats? If so, try the slightly wider one.
Also, review your SEO, to help boost the traffic you get from the free search results...

There are a lot of things you can do:
1.) Increase traffic
2.) Increase CTR
3.) Optimize for better paying keywords
Ad 1.)
Well, you'll have to do some research here. Write posts with certain
keywords that get searched a lot and try to get relevant links to
individual posts. That way you'll get traffic for more keywords. Here's
what I do...
I research the keywords in my niche and pick the one that has
about a 1000-3000 searches a month. I write a post optimized for
this keyword. Then I write several articles and submit them to the
article directories (through a service that sends each article to 100s
of directories). In the "Author's BIO" I include an anchored link with
a keyword for that post and have that link point to that post. In
85% of cases the post gets on the first page of the search engines
in a few weeks.
Make sure your posts have about 1000 words and that you include
the keyword in the beginning and at the end of the post (first and
last 20 words are the most important). Also include some Bald and
italic versions of the keyword (don't overdo it though). I have a site
that has a main keyword density of about 2.7% and it ranks #2
in Google and also very high in Yahoo! and MSN.
After you've done this, just repeat with another keyword of about
1000-3000 searches a month. Do a post a week and you'll have
traffic coming in no time.
Meanwhile, you should also optimize one post for a very competitive
term and have all the other posts link to it by default. That way
you're building link popularity also for your most competitive
term.
Ad 2.)
Well, here you'll have to test a bit. If you PM me, I'll send you a
free report I wrote a while back. If you agree to give me a
testimonial after you've read it and promise NOT to share the info
with others, I'll gladly send it to you.
Ad 3.)
This is a bit more tricky. You have to have the right tool for this
and it's not very cheap. You can try and do a research on the Overture
"bid tool" -- they tell you how much certain keywords are paying. But
that's really just an estimate (although better than nothing, especially
since it's free).
Hope this helps a bit
Have a great day!

First of all, if you want to build and grow those websites, I would get your own domain for them. A ___.blogspot.com probably won't get you far. But anyway, they look ok, but one thing you could try is adding the ads right into your content. Most people try to avoid ads, so blending them in well is key.

I agree with the others that suggest building your traffic. Start getting lots of people to your site first, than worry about ad placement, etc.
And the big secret for building traffic, of course, is great content and original ideas.
