Timeshare Relief |
|

I'm a regular reader of the money talk forum and recently had an experience with this company that I thought I'd share in the event anyone else has a timeshare burden they're looking to unload. I inherited a timeshare from my uncle after his passing. Initially it was fine. I used it a couple of times but have never been one to return over and over to the same vacation spot and it soon lost its appeal. There are a myriad of fees one must upkeep on these things and they are virtually impossible to sell. Long story short, I was paying out fees on a property I never used but couldn't get rid of. I did some research and found Timeshare Relief. For a fee they will take your timeshare property off your hands permanently. The title is completely transfered and you will never pay another dime in maintenance fees. An incredible financial burden lifted. If you're looking to offload a timeshare I couldn't recommend these guys enough.

At the time I actually thought I'd get some use out of it. It was only after some time I realized it was more of a curse than a blessing. They are virtually impossible to sell. Believe me, I tried. You can donate them but what that means is that someone will list them for free (vs. paying a listing company) but until they sell you continue to pay your maintenance fees. It's a losing battle no matter how you look at it. Long story short, you pay out tons of money on one of these things, why not take the money you're throwing out the window and invest it in your financial freedom? I have no regrets.

I'm so frustrated by the whole timeshare sales industry and the lame contracts that last forever. If your folks own one, and then pass away, not only do you grieve losing them, but you grieve gaining a damned timeshare. Thank god for folks like Timeshare Relief who expose the liars of the industry, tell you the truth, and give you knowledge and power so you can make educated choices about what to do with an unwanted timeshare. They really do offer timeshare relief. Yay for that.

That's why I own Trend West Vacation Shares at World mark the Club. I have so many different places to use it I will never visit them all and we love it. I pay $400 a year for a week just about anywhere at anytime. Then I can buy bonus time for around $30 a night in a 2 bedroom unit with full kitchen. Our last bonus time was at Victoria BC overlooking the harbor. I put some photos up at http://PictureTrail.com/warren65
