Is last confusion a good advertising trick? |
|
|
Gotcha, didn't I
This is exactly my point. The word "last" in the subject should be
replaced with "light". Yes, light confusion increases response and
also sales!
But remember NOT to make it too much of a confusion! That way
it can backfire. The point is to get a person's attention. Nowadays
people are over-marketed to -- there are marketing messages
all over the place all the time. So your job as an advertiser is to
get people's attention. One of the "tricks of the trade" is light
confusion. It evokes curiosity in a person and that can only be
a great thing.
You, of course have to also follow through correctly. When you got
a person engaged in something you musk keep him engaged and
interested. How to do it?
Simple...
First let me tell that you that you can find many great things in my
signature below, but what good would it do if it didn't draw
attention somehow?
OK, now to tell you how to keep a person interested and engaged:
write short paragraphs and make it every paragraph's (especially
the first few) job to get people to...
...read the next one... and then the next one and so on. As people
start reading and don't get bored in the first few paragraphs, they'll
most likely read till the end of your message where you "hit" them
with your offer.
So, remember: always think out of the box. Spark curiosity in people
and you should do great.
To your success!
