Site Review Needed  Reply with quote

Hi Everyone,

I just launched a new site (financial site) and I need your feedback. It doesn't matter if you are the everyday consumer, professional, or web pro. Please help me out before we just become another site trying to sell something.

Let us know what you like, don't like, would like to see, what would help you make your decision, anything. We appreciate your feedback and look forward (with your help) making this site as user friendly as possible.

Thank you for youor input. We know about the "click to scroll over" it was an error with IE. It shouldn't have been that way.

Please encourage other people to visit the site and leave feedback.

Did you see anything regarding the actual financial side. would you like to see anything new on it more news, help, etc...?

I think that has been the first time I have ever been accused of being smarter than they think I am.

Is this the final product? There is a couple of links that that look like multiple active links. When I encounter these on the internet, they immediately become ignored. I am not sure if I am typical in this behavior. Multiple links that funnel into the same target will also immediately stop me from exploring a new website, with the possible exception of "Under Construction".

If these links just haven’t been activated yet, I think it has a clean functional look to it. These are the kind of websites I enjoy using on a regular basis. With a little practice, it can be navigated without changing your eye focus, which speeds things up. This makes me feel like the website is working for me, rather than the reverse.

Hi!

I think your website looks pretty "clean" which is good. I think you should consider putting one picture for each item of the menu located on the left part of the website.

Another IMPORTANT thing is a logo....you should get one as soon as possible. Take a look in my website, I can help you with that.

All the best!

Thank you for your review... Im not sure what you are saying. "REDUNDANT"

What we are is the first "lead" company that will actually be explaining to the everyday consumer how to really get 4 banks to work for you.. WHY- it is important to fill in your correct information.. WHY - mortage people attempt to charge points. or what is an ARM...

The goal of the business is to get people to the application. The content is a bit boring..

Does it make anymore sense now that youo know what it is?
Would you fill out an application in order to get a new car offer or mortgage refi? (meaning do you think it is good enough for the general pop? or should I break it down more?

Again thank you very much for your input. This is very needed.

I would consider that your main problem. If the content is filler, It's going to turn people off to the site. Maybe Condensing it or making it more interesting (videos, audio, etc) To make it simpler.

My only other thing would be the pictures, They look like ready-made, Generic business-like photos. I'm assuming they came with the site, What I would reccomend is Adding in ome of your actual business photos or some more real-looking photos. Kind of poot an actual face to your site, you know? (And that isn't necessarily an issue, It's mainly just my preference. But to each his own.)

Good luck,
Ibez

I would keep your main top navigation throughout the site. Add some photos and graphics to the content to spice it up a bit. Looks very proffesional!

Does anybody know of great "financial" content writers? I would really appreciate it. Also Thank you everyone for your reviews. I can't tell you how helpful you have all been.

I think so. As the directory is a growing community... you can get a good no. of visitors in addition to that. Also they have a good no. of moderators and the experts..... whose comments will make you think.
once your site is added, that can provide you some sort of mileage.
