Where can I screen stocks based on historical prices? |

Is there anyplace one can screen stocks based on historical prices? Specifically, I would like to choose a date (say, June 10, 2002) and then generate a list of all stocks that hit a 52-week low on that date. If possible, I'd also like to export that list to Excel.
If anybody knows how to do this, I'd appreciate that info. Thanks!

I was curious about that also.

Tim,
I'm not trying to invent some new stock-picking criteria. I merely wanted to run a little study to see where stocks that were at 52-week lows, say, two years ago, are today. What percentage of those stocks are now up from those lows? I realize that the resulting answer is of no technical significance. I'm just curious.....
Thanks for your help anyway.

Try this site:

You can use tons of user-defined filters including price action and technical indicators. You can also export the results to excel sheets. It is my favorite for screening stocks. But it is not free for the current data.
You can not become free by accepting to be occupied

MSN money has a lot of data, especially if you look closely for the various options on each screen. But don't just look at price. Look at the company itself. Are its sales increasing? Is equity increasing? At what rates? Use the numbers to gauge the health of the business, not just the share price.
