Eversun:
There are too many Finance and Investment books printed to list them all here. Listed below are books worth reading (most can be obtained at your local library or one of the online booksellers - Amazon, Barnes and Noble).
How to Make Money In Stocks - William J. O'Neil
24 Essential Lessons for Investment Success - William J. O'Neil
The Intelligent Investor - Benjamin Graham (taught Warren Buffet)
Reminiscences of a Stock Operator- Edwin Lefevre (Story of Jesse Livermore - one of the world's greatest stock and commodity traders).
You can also try some blogs about Finance and Investing books - do a search.
There is a web site that would be helpful to you. It is listed below:
www.ebooksclub.org
They have thousands of titles you might be wanting to learn more about.
Hopes this gets you started. Good luck!

Forums are very helpful. I'd put them before any books.
It may sound dumb, but try the Investment for Dummies book. It's simple and doesn't go too far in depth but covers a wide range of subjects. At a minimum it'll help you get used to the lingo so you won't be confused by other books or forum posts.

"The Truth About Money" by Ric Edelman - I think this is the best introduction to finance I have read so far.
"The Millionaire Next Door" by Thomas J. Stanley and William D. Danko - This book looks at the spending habits of many self made millionaires, Makes alot of sense.
I would start with those two. Both are more personal finance than investing. This helps determine how to maximize the amount you can invest.
"Rich Dad Poor Dad" - I agree with jwhite622 on this one, although I don't agree with his investment philosphy completely.
The Peter Lynch books are also good. I would start with "Beating the Street" by Peter Lynch and John Rothchild
