I have two suggestions and wanted to see if they seem wise. Remember i'm 22 and looking for HIGH growth and understand there might be a high risk. But its better then letting the money sit in my checkings

2 Suggestions.

3k vanguard s&p fund

2k towards intel. Right now the price is low as it has ever been in the past 52 weeks and seems the only place would be up, especially with the new line of procs coming.

You know you are young and can/willing to take on risk....why are you looking at large-caps? Think bigger...growth-wise.

Kudos to you for investing under your control.

All forums are different with their rules and enforcement. I've been in your shoes and gotten slapped for doing the same thing with the same reasoning as you, even though their rules included the caveat that you are suggesting in your "real difference" comment. We may occasionally allow our regular contributors such indulgences when they make sense, just don't make a habit of it. Wink
