Which is why I'm giving you a chance to explain. Please give an explanation of how doublers work (just be warned, though - I am very skeptical of those types of money making schemes).

Well if you look at what Empowerism is doing they keep tweaking it by adding outside sources of income to lower the cycle time. Since they have a product attached to the doubler they will have a longer life span than the pure money games that are out there, but eventually they too will fall.
No matter how good they look, there will come a time that the cycle times get too long to attract new money or repeat money. Then they will stop. The only ones to benefit are those who got in early and got out early.
If you think differently, then put it in a spread sheet so we all can take a look at how this money will continue to double.

Amen to that!
After seeing so many "money-making opps" come and go over the years, this sound advise has made me more money than anything else online. And I just keep adding more sites and products, because this advise is so true.

I figure if it's something that you can create or at least add value to, then you've got the start of a possible business.
For example, there are people who are good at designing 468x60 banners like you see everywhere, including at the bottom of this page. It does take some graphics and presentation skills, but it's not terribly complex, and they can make a living cranking out custom banners for businesses.
Some people could lend their talents at sales to a legit pre-built sales system.
So whether you find yourself a niche market that you can corner, or you are going mainstream, there is something that will work for most anybody, I think, if you can capitalize on your skills and interests.

I agree also -- makes perfect sense. Please tell me how you went about getting your site set up and what types of products you sell on your site -- I do not necessarily want to duplicate you, but I tried to get a web site built -- had really good wholesale items -- but got taken for about $1500.00 and have no website to show for it.

This is indeed the key -- I would love to talk with you indept about your business successes.
I have been trying to market wholesale items, but needed a website -- spent $1600 and still do not have a website -- Do you know what is the best way to go about building a website to host an online catalog.

I agree that finding the right product, finding the right niche and
marketing effectively is the right way to go. But I also find that there
are other dimensions that one may need to look at as well...
Being the right person for success is also a major factor. Andrew touched
