I knew about the others but ... banning popular music, you've got to be kidding!?!

quote:

"This is terrible," said Iranian guitarist Babak Riahipour, whose music was played occasionally on state radio and TV. "The decision shows a lack of knowledge and experience."

This is what will become of Iraq if the Shiite extremists get their way. And they ARE - look at the electoral returns. Overwhelmingly Shiite.

An Islamic State is what the Shiites want. So congrats Rolo and Sarah, you are in favor of slaughtering 30,000 innocent civilians and 2100 US soldiers so that Iraq can become a fundy Islamic Wahabbi state.

Help me out Ashraf - am I wrong here? Crazy? What's your perspective on this?

Sure...Whatever it takes to keep stability in the region and projectiles out of our country. Confused

Perhaps you would like my plan better...I think it gets to the root of the problem: Berlin airlift a bunch of booze and porn over the whole uptight region and maybe everyone will just loosen up enough to quit their bitchin' about those spawns-of-satan Westerners.

Kenny G...bwahaha! Guess we can play that for psyops...but that might hurt us as much as it hurts them.

Saddam had no projectiles aimed at our country. Hello? Saddam took potshots at no-fly patrols. That was the extent of Saddams capability - as reported by Powell AND rumsfeld in 2001!

We'll see about that "stability".

My prayers are for peace.

The Shia Muslims in Iraq follow their religious imams without hesitation - sometimes blindly. Ali Al-Sistani who is their most important religious leader in Iraq has very strong religious ties with Iran. So yes Iran has a direct influence on the Shia over there. Make no mistake it does.

Prayers without action are blasphemous. Do you rub the lamp when you pray to your genie?

You would be the one who waited until AFTER something happened to decide global stability was important; you didn't learn from WWII.

Rolo, this is money-talk.org. I believe you were looking for crazy-talk.org.

My prayers are for peace. Lasting peace without US intervention.

OIF was no WW2. No amount of your feverish insane babbling will make it so.

So, yes, sitting on yer butt praying for things to happen on their own....GOOD PLAN! Maybe you should try rubbing the other side of the lamp...
