has anyone tried grant books? |

I think I'm going to purchase a grant ebook from www.grantguys.com , but was wondering if anyone else had tried it or similiar services before. it's not a bad price and it would probably be worth it to try a few small business grants out...any thoughts?

I will not support for you to BUY this book.
Sorry to say SO.
quote: Just wonder why people still fall into this crap when the claims were outrageous without stating anything you would sell to make half a million dollars -- can't believe RIGHT!
Sometime when Things are TOO GOOD to be TRUE, normally is NOT TRUE. Remember this !
quote: Greed and ignorance.
It's VERY easy to figure out how much you have to sell to make X dollars.
For example, if you want to make $120,000/year US -- that puts you in the top couple percent of income earners in the US. In order to do that, you need to build a company that sells at least $1.2 million in sales. That's if you are REALLY good. lol Some sell that and lose money!
The exception to this is if you are in the service industry.
For example, I'm an Electrical Engineer by education. I can bill out at about $100/hour. If I'm 80% billable in a year, that's $160,000/year. So, the combination between education and hours put in can make you some good cash.
But, to really not kill yourself you need to hire others and sell more services. This is why sales people generally start their own business (and why bosses are not always so great).
Those that can PRODUCE the work, pay the bills.
The combination of a life long personal growth program AND good sales skills are what build HUGE corporations and it's also why a CEO can make millions, sometimes hundreds of million of dollars. They are responsible for a LOT of sales (which creates a lot of income and jobs for those unwilling or unable to get more education or build their own businesses).
But, the ultimate goal is to NET out 10% after overhead and expenses on an employee.
If you are in sales -- you can make 10-30% -- maybe more in some industries like Pharmacutical Sales. If you are building a company, after you get to several thousand in sales each month, you should net out about 10% on wholesale (where you are hiring others to do the work).
If everyone would put a product, with a price to these numbers they would see who so few actually make even $10,000/year in their own business.
