Why do you pay $25 or so and join surveyscout, when you can get info on all the survey sites for free!
It may be just $25, but why waste it only to get a list!

Surveyclub helps you to join 25 other best free paid survey sites. Surveyscout may get you more. But 25 is enough for me and it is free!

Taking surveys is a good option IF you live in USA,CANADA or EUROPE.For the rest of the world there is very little chance that you will get atleast one survey per month.There are a lot of free survey provider sites,eg.SurveyClub.
I live in Asia and i am a member of about more than 50 survey sites(lost the count, joined all that i could find) but only the invitations that i get are from GlobalTest Market.
I heard a rumour that profiles are best kept unfilled to increase your invitation chances.

I don't think so
If you keep your profiles unfilled you may get an invite for surveys for which there are not matching people in the database. Then, chances are quite high that you will not qualify for taking the survey after the screening questionnaire

DO NOT JOIN SURVEY SCOUT!
Survey Scout does not send paid surveys. They charge you a fee
to access their directory of paid survey companies you can join.
You can find the same list for free all over the net.
