To reply to the above post, Treasure Trooper, or TT, is a legit GPT site that has the potential of making you in upwards of $800/month. Granted, many of its member make about $100/month spending around 15/day, but for people like me who work full-time on it, and other similar sites, it definitely can increase your income. I did sign up for TT last week just to see for myself. If you try this you had better get an iron clad email box just for these offers because they will hit by the next day and keep coming along with even more you didn't bargain for.
The only way I can see to make that much money without going broke from accepting enough offers to get there, is to become a pick pocket of sorts.
If you are slick enough, you can accept an offer you can keep long enough to get paid and still cancel it before you get charged any money. Some even advocate getting a Gift Card Visa to make sure you have a low cap on your spending and can't get burned too bad. Nothing wrong with burning the advertisers though, right?
Make sure you set up a database or spreadsheet to keep track of all the offers you signed up for so you can cancel them under the wire or your income after expenses won't be very good.
Finally, realize exactly what you are doing. The people who make these offers are legitimate business folks who are trying to get more business and willing to give you a bonus to try them out. By playing the cancel fast game, you are STEALING from them as sure as if you went into their store and shoplifted some merchandise.
It may be true that if you juggle your schedule like a tightrope walker you can rip off enough advertisers to collect $400 to $800 a month, but my integrity is worth more far than that, not to mention the strain on your mental state to keep track of all your subterfuge.
I belonged to a program about six years ago known as AllAdvantage. They paid you to run a 480 X 60 banner ad on your browser that advertised various websites as you surf. The problem the greedy people who got in couldn't see was that if you never clicked a banner, let alone bought anything, something would break, and it did. Once the response rates went in the toilet, so did the advertising income that paid everyone. The same thing will happen here, I would bet on it.
My account is now inactive and I never collected a dime.

I've been looking to get into a few other things so I have multiple income streams, but i'm getting mixed reactions about the affiliate sites. The main one, ClickBank is behind everything i've looked at. Either its a really big company and a great opportunity, or it could be a really big shady ordeal... I just wanted to know if anybody had any knowledge or experience they could share before I go throwing more money away on something else I don't need...Thanks.

I can tell you I have been an affiliate for Clickbank for several years and never had a problem with them. Whenever I earn enough to trigger a check, I get it get it mailed to me promptly.
It's free to sign up to be an affiliate. They do pay on time every time. It does require some effort to get enough sales to get a check, but I have been doing a lot better lately since I started working at it.
There are lots of Ebooks available to learn more about how to use it and Harvey Segal is a strong supporter. Do a Google search on his name.

Join a program that is really cheap to start. I also did not know this. Initially I started promoting programs like Prosperity, Coastal, Liberty League. I am not saying they are bad programs but the entry fee is too much for most of the people interested in internet marketing. But then I realized those programs that have low entry fee are more successful. In the end it is hard work and determination that pays. But it is always fun. You never get bored. Everyday you learn new things.
