Single Mom Needing Alittle Help!  Reply with quote

I won't bore you with the same old 'song & dance', I will straight forward and to the point.
I have been barely keeping afloat this last year since my divorce, I got rid of the ex (personal reasons), and with his leaveing, he left with bills I've had a hard time paying, thus ruining what little credit I did have, so no banks will help me with a loan, and I've exhausted almost every avenue I know of!
My financial situation (and Step-Father leaveing) has also caused chaos between my 16yr. son and I. He's gotten into all kinds of touble, and I've had to spend everything I've had (after bills) just to try and straighten him up.
I'm currently looking for work, but it's hard without a car, and I live in a smaill town where there is 'no' public transportation, so an auto is a must here. I recieve S.S. on my 16yr. son (his real Father has been deceased since he was 3), and that's what is barely keeping me afloat.
The 'only' thing I own is my home, it's worth about $19,000, and my debts don't come to more than $7-$8,000, not enough to file bank ruputcy on. What I'm needing/asking for is a loan from for $10,000 to get me back on my feet again so I can pay my outstanding debts, taxes, get a car so I can work, and maybe try and start an internet business. With all debts taken care of, and with a job, I can afford to make a pymt. of $150-$200 a mth. until the loan is paid back!
I'm am willing to put my home as collateral for a loan.
If anyone can help I sure would appreciate it , this website is about my last hope.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, God Bless, and have a very happy new year ahead

Sincerely,
CLPate...

First of all, congratulations on making those difficult (but better in the long-run) personal changes (the "ex"), even though it may have complicated your financial situation.

You might want to consider credit counseling like Ameridebt to help you manage those debts. They may be able to help you consolidate your debts and have a low single monthly payment.

Also, if you have easy internet access, you could try doing the paid surveys to make some extra bucks here and there...

Good luck with everything!

I believe in situation as divorce and stuff that you are required to run an ad in the paper annoucing that YOU are only responsible for the debts that you have incurred...

do that quick and it will help in any future "problems" that may arise form the x

A friend of mine makes some extra money on the internet by buying things at dollar stores (real ones where everything is a dollar) and selling them for a profit on Ebay. On small things I know she charges 3 dollars shipping, which actually covers her shipping and the cost of the item with the extra "dollar" being profit, if if the bid is only a penny.

She has sold things she bought at dollars stores and some things from Big Lots for as much as 17 dollars. She says you have to develop a "feel" for what sells on Ebay, but even after her costs driving around and all, she makes an extra 3-400 dollars a month. A business you can get started in for less than 10 dollars!!!! You need good pictures on Ebay so a digital camera would be important, or borrow one to get started. Good luck!!!
