Hello to the community. I am not sure if this is the correct room for this post, so please guide me if I should post elsewhere.
I have recently been considering various options for a home online business venture, and most recently have happened across dropshipping. It seems to me this has advantages because I am able to control the sale of my merchandise (items, price, ect) and yet do not have to inventory anything because the manufacturer/distributor will send the order directly to the consumer who purchases the item through me. The advantage here therefore seems to be in significantly reducing overhead costs.
What I am wondering; first, does anyone else have knowledge or experiencing with this type of thing? Second, where can I find valid dropshippers or directories online? It seems there are many false claims here.

Hi!
Dropshipping certainly has those advantages that you mentioned, like not having to worry about an inventory, or paying for shipping to and from your office. These things can also become downsides, as you have no direct control over your stock and timely shipping to your customers. By doing less of the work, your cut is also smaller. However, many have done well with dropshipping so it is certainly a valid option, but you must be careful about rip-offs in this area.
