I'm in the process of buying my first home, and I'm worrying a lot about how to make the 10% downpayment for my preferred mortgage. I have money, but it's tied up in a bunch of investments (securities mainly). Do you have any advice on how to choose which investments to liquidate, and any tax consequuences I might have?
