I can't say I really had outrageous bills from Christmas...

but I did treat myself to a couple hundred more in gifts than I could pay off that month. I felt like crap carrying a balance on a credit card into the next month. Guess I can't say I've never carried a balance over before!

Luckily, I didn't incur a lot of them last year, since I cut off a few expenses. So I have only a few hundred bucks to pay off from the holidays.

I paid cash for Christmas. What can I say? I knew it was coming so I planned. It comes every year, not a big surprise.

I only buy what I can and I don't charge anything!!! No left over Christmas bills for me!!! This year my family decided that since we all were getting together we would pull a name out of a hat and that was the person we were buying for - $100 limit!!! It worked out perfectly and I was still able to buy a gift for my parents and sister!!!

What bills? We used cash that we saved up and made a budget for.
