Selling trust deed or "carried note" information.  Reply with quote

Has anybody sold a trust deed? I know that there are many types of purchases and variables that effect the amount. Is there some general rule as to what to expect? Do they offer the full amount? Do they offer the amount minus a percentage? Can I not expect to get the full value of the note? Is the option for selling a trust deed for people who may be desperate (like a lot of lottery winners) and the buyer lowballs the actual value of the note just so the desperate seller can get a lump sum??? Can I expect to lose a big chunk of my note in order to cash it in? I have received an unbelievable amount of solicitations and thus hesitate to contact a company just to see. I don't want to attract anymore attention.
