VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Mar 13, 2006 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Sports-Stuff.com Inc. (Pink Sheets:SSUF), a publisher and distributor of SMS alerts, mobile web sites, ringtones and mobile video games for the entertainment industry, today forecast its outlook for substantial revenue increases in 2006. The company is currently generating revenue from applications already in the market place and anticipates revenues to ramp up substantially based on increased interest in the sale and customization of its mobile web based contests, increased demand for its SMS alert services, improving market trends in the mobile web space, growth of mobile advertisers, and improved internal execution. The company expects these factors to generate increased revenue and allow for reduced expenditures.
"We are extremely pleased by the overwhelming response to our mobile sports and entertainment applications, particularly the demand for our custom mobile web predictive contests and SMS alert services" said SSUF President Kevin Day, "As we move into the 2nd quarter of 2006, several key factors have come together to boost Sports-Stuff's prospects, and we are on track to meet our financial objectives. The company anticipates launching services with a major North American carrier in the coming weeks, and is in discussions to make its products and services available through carriers in Europe and Asia."

-- Downloads and site access by mobile phone users of
Sport-Stuff's wireless content; including ringtones,

Seems like the market for SSUF's products is huge!

"There is a growing demand for wireless content in North America. Consumer adoption of mobile data services, rapid advances in technology, improved quality of content and carrier marketing initiatives will continue driving the penetration and usage of wireless content. This growth in demand for mobile entertainment applications is driven by:

Increasing penetration of multimedia-capable mobile phones and falling data transmission rates. The total number of mobile phone users will double globally from 1.5 billion today to 3 billion in 2010 (source: Gartner Research).
Increasing demand for mobile phone games, in particular sports-related titles. The mobile games market will have over 500 million users globally by 2007. Sports and racing related titles could account for approximately 34% of the mobile games market based on statistics for video game consoles.
Increasing usage of mobile phone services (mobile games, ringtones and scoring alerts).
Advances in bandwidth and handset technology
Momentum of recent events such as stock listing of sector pioneer Jamdat (NASDAQ: JMDT)

Ringtones and ringbacks (ringtones)
Global ringtone revenue is projected to grow from $2.88Bn in 2003 to $4.5Bn by 2007. The US market for ringtones is forecast to grow from $217 million in 2004 to $724 Million by 2009 . The largest growth segment for ringtones is music tracks; however, based on market feedback and strong carrier interest it is clear there is a strong niche demand for SSUFs current product: athlete and entertainer voices recorded over music catered to the athlete/sport/entertainer.
Mobile Web Sites
Yankee Group reports that browsing mobile site content (wireless web content such as entertainment, sports, news and more) is up from 11 percent of all data subscribers who actively use data services to 35 percent in 2004. Last year, Go2, a popular mobile content directory system, served over 160 million pages of local information during 16 million unique cellphone user sessions and worked with advertisers such as AMF Bowling, Bose, Holiday Inn, Il Fornaio, Jamba Juice and ProFlowers.com.
In reference to the recent deal between Motorola and Google whereby Google mobile web search will be accessible by pressing one key on new Motorola phones, Google Chief Executive Eric Schmidt said his company, which runs the world's most popular Web search engine, made the agreement because he believes that in the future mobile devices will be where consumers access the Internet most often. "People are going to spend all their time on it eventually," said Schmidt, referring to the mobile Internet.
Sports Alerts
The scoring alert market is driven by consumers with a need for immediate information on sports scores and other sports-related news. According to 2005 M:Metrics research, 44% of all mobile browsers sought sports scores and sports news.
Mobile Games
Worldwide wireless gaming revenue was $1.1 billion in 2003 and is expected to grow to $3.8 billion by 2007 (ARC Group and Ziff Davis). This represents a 28% CAGR. According to ARC, North American revenue represented $119 million in 2003 and will grow to $1.2 billion by 2008. The market for mobile games is expected to be broadly consistent with console games in terms of types of games consumers will demand. Sports-based games represent 34% of all titles sold in console games"

DEMAND FOR WIRELESS CONTENT

Global wireless entertainment revenue is projected to grow at a CAGR of 26% from now to 2007 (source: ARC Group). This growth is the result of substantial technological advancement in the global wireless communications industry, increased penetration of multimedia mobile phones, and increased marketing and promotion of wireless services by carriers.

Wireless carriers continue to launch new data services, including downloadable games, ring tones and images, to drive revenue and capitalize on their investments in advanced wireless networks and multimedia handsets.

Key factors driving this growth:

Wireless Subscription Growth: The number of global wireless subscribers surpassed one billion in 2002 and is expected to grow to two billion by 2008.

Multimedia Mobile Phones Penetration: Annual global sales of multimedia mobile phone handsets were 560 million in 2004 and projected to grow to 689 million units by 2008. Lehman Brothers estimates 40mm compatible handsets in NA in 2005, growing to 62 mm in 2006. Increased handset functionality is driving the strong handset growth.

Multimedia Mobile Phones Capabilities: The mobile phone is no longer a voice only device. Current generation phones now offer additional features such as digital cameras, Internet connectivity, mp3 players, radios and general contact and appointment management software.

Carrier and Consumer Demand for Wireless Content: Wireless carriers are looking to wireless entertainment applications to drive revenue. Consumers are looking for more advanced software and entertainment applications on their phones.

According to AT Kearney, 10% of mobile phone users used mobile services at least once per week in 2004; they expect this to grow to 41% in 2005. The delivery of games, ring tones, screensavers, wallpaper and other entertainment content and services allows wireless carriers to leverage both the increasing installed base of next-generation mobile phones and their investment in high-bandwidth wireless networks while delivering new engaging content to customers.

Deployment of Advanced Wireless Networks: Wireless carriers have invested in and are rolling out high-speed, advanced digital networks to greatly improve wireless voice and data transmission. These advanced networks have enabled the provisioning and billing of data applications and have increased the ability of wireless subscribers to quickly download large amounts of data to their mobile phones, a significant advantage for wireless game users.

Ringtones

The market for mobile phone ringtones reached $3.5 billion in worldwide sales in 2004. According to the Arc Group, worldwide ringtone sales are expected to exceed $5.0 billion by 2008.

Alerts

The scoring alert market is driven by consumers with a need for immediate information on sports scores and other sports-related news. According to 2005 M:Metrics research, 44% of all mobile browsers sought sports scores and sports news."

I think .75 is the low/downside base on SSUF, something like 95% of all trades in the last 6 months are above a dollar, some decent money there.

Looking for SSUF to show some life, if the bids stack a little and I see even some upside volume I will be all over this stock. Small float and moves super easy, just look at the last run to 1.50 and that wasn't much volume,
