Make Money On The Internet! HOW?? |
|
|
I've been using the internet as a business tool for ten years. Now what about using it as a business itself?
Can you quite your day job and go work on the internet? What are the profitable online businesses? I heard that affiliate programs were the way to go, but since I have no websites to link to it does me no good.
Can you make more money online than the real world?

Hi Al!
I was reading a thread about this very subject at a webmaster site recently. Lots of individuals have quit "working for the man" and taken their online work to the next level by working for themselves. According to those that had posted they admitted it was a lot of work, but not one of the posters had any regrets about their decision.
What to do is the question though, and that varies with each individual and their skills. Some have gone solo with website design businesses. Some sell e-books on their website, some sell retail products. Techies can do telecommuting computer consulting. Others have gone the advertising or affiliate routes. There are many possibilities.
Some people doing affiliate programs can make a decent living. Here's one guy who claims to be making big bucks...

You don't even have to have a website to participate and profit from affiliate programs. One can purchase pay-per-click advertising and get an ad (and affiliate URL) seen by millions and clicked on by a percentage of those. If you can manage things such that you are making more from the resulting affiliate earnings than it costs to keep the ad up, then, viola!, you are making a profit being an affiliate.
Do a search on "google cash" on Google...
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=google+cash
You'll find info on google cash, which is an e-book which details how to be an affiliate without a website, and you'll also see ads for google cash which are actually affiliate ads where are people trying to help sell google cash to potential google cash buyers.

You asked if it was possible to make more money on the net, than at a day job. The answer is "Yes" and I have no Master Plan for you to follow, but I have to tell you that its not much different than a day job in the sence that you have to educate, and apply yourself the same as any profession.
I'm just getting started in my attempt to make my money on the net. I'm reading a Book by Robert G Allen called -"Multiple Streams of Internet Income" If your interested in the Book or any others, I have just one favor to ask; if you order from Amazon.com please use the link from my website.
Through their affilate program that gives me the opportunity to earn a small percentage on the sale. That is one money making option. The other ways you can find in the Book. Click here to use the link from my site, http://home.earthlink.net/~pmo-1
Thanks

Hello Al.
It's a tough way to make an easy living!
You really have to have something that separates you from the masses of affiliate selling marketers. It's a grind but having said that, people do it and can make a solid living.
Follow the address on the bottom to my first site (a little rough around the edges admittedly).
You will find some ideas for making money online. (NOTE: I am an affiliate for some of them).

Hi Kevin,
I noticed that GoogleCash was in your top 5 list... have you used this program personally? If so, how did you apply it and what was the most lucrative application of GoogleCash?

Hi Andrew
Thanks for the note.
The Google cash in my top 5 list is a program that you must pay for.
It gives step by step advice and support on how to market affiliate products and which products to market by using the google Ad Words.
I am not a big fan of affiliate product marketing (although I have tried and had some limited success).
Having said that, I do believe in the Google Adwords campaign and do presently use it myself for my own venture.
My site is now getting dated as I am working full time on this other venture . (it is rated #1 at my site).
My partner (at the time when we put that site up) actually bought the Google program in question but then instead of doing the work, opted for a 9-5 method of income.
My own experience with Google Adwords:
For a program like mine, it is tricky to find the right keywords and phrases to spend your money on. I have a lot of general competition that drives prices up but little specific competition. I try to keep my pay per clicks to specific phrases that would be directly related to my company and business opportunity. I'm very concerned with keeping my budget down so I currently have strict limits on my account.
It has without doubt created about 6-8 extra hits to my site daily on a budget of $1 a day. I do not currently specifically track how many of those hits become involved in my program although this is in my future plans.
Others that I have talked to have also reported successes with Google Ad Words.
A word of caution: Many have reported horror stories when trying the same type of Ad Word programs with lesser known Search engines.
I really hope this helps answer your question. Maybe somebody else has something to add?
Plese see my new site if you are looking for a great new idea for a home based business or simply want to earn a 25% profit on your money in 90-120 days as well as a residual income. (I know it sounds too good to be true but your research will prove me right) www.cashinontrim.com

Yeah, I plan on trying out the AdWords conversion tracking utilities soon, so I can see what is happening better with my ROI. Otherwise you are flying blind to a degree. I know that AdWords is working for me in my retail venture, but knowing the ROI would be golden.

Fortunately, it's not a difficult thing to track.
Unfortunately, being very busy, I haven't gotten around to setting it up but I'm only spending about $0.40 a day so I'm not really worried about it at this time.
Talk to you soon.

Hi Al,
Earning money online usually isn't easy. If you are just starting out it can be a rough road indeed. What type of income are you looking for? Do you want to sell products or services? Would you be open to investing online? See my signature below and i'll save you some time and frustration trying to earn a digital living.

I am finding there are tons of ways to make money on the internet... but it takes work.
Al - I noticed you said that you don't have a website so you couldn't do affiliate marketing.... this isn't necessarily true.
You can still be an affiliate marketer and use PPC (Pay per click) advertising on search engines. A good ebook I've read (and am an affiliate of) goes over this in detail -Google Cash. I've made some money with this concept...but it takes some time to find the right keywords to use. You want to keep your PPC costs down... around .10.
I could go on and on.... but it's getting late and my bed is calling.
Good Luck!!!

Note Trading and Brokering |
|
|
Notes are pretty popular right now, and there are a couple of ways of brokering notes, however, you could also become an affiliate at the following site and make over $200 per brokered deal, its hot and not overexposed!
