Anybody ever use CreditKarma? |

They use a different credit score that's based on a blend of credit scores?? I'm wondering how accurate it is...
They say it's a blend of your vantage score (which how insurance companies rate your risk) and your TransUnion score??
I've pulled my credit scores and CreditKarma came in 15 pts lower than the lowest scores from the three bureaus??

Credit karma is good site to check your credit score. They offer free tools to see credit score and comparisons without any hidden fee. They show instant report which is really nice feature if you compare with other credit checking places like myfico. My credit score gone to 43 in one month after i fallow their advise.

As coaster mentioned, CreditKarma is providing your Vantage score. This is great if you're just trying to determine the overall health of your credit situation. But if you're checking your score because you're considering a loan in the near future, then your FICO score is probably a better choice since it's likely the bank or lending institution will use FICO to determine your creditworthiness.

There are pros and cons in using Credit karma. One of the many benefits is having the opportunity to view your credit score multiple times in one day. Another is the chance to try their special tool that allows you to view your hypothetical credit score based from variety of situations. But before you proceed, make sure first that you are comfortable in giving your social security number because there are sensitive issues about this right now such as theft. So just proceed with caution and take time to think about this.

I have had Credit Karma for 6 months and “update” my credit score once a month. I also use thier tips on how to make my score better. I have never been charged a dime, never had been asked to give my card numbers or anything. I love it and would reccomend it to anyone.
