Profit Masters is a team within the Emerald Passport Family. I too, at first, though this was too good to be true but after doing some research and talking to several people involved, I came to a differnt conclusion.
There is no catch. You have to be willing to work at it and follow the system. As far as th ROI, well where else can you earn $1000 per sale from you third sale on. Not to mention the money you make from each new generation coming in under you. It's not for everyone, but there is an awful lot of money being made

Stay away from Emerald Passport - SCAM ALERT |
|
|
Anything that is a 2 Up compensation plan.... such as the one that Emerald Passport provides via people like The Profit Masters, Power Profit System and so forth is a SCAM !
AUSSIE 2 UPs PAY PLANS ARE A SCAM!
Also, here are examples of the number of people you actually get paid on in
these two compensation plans. In each case, everyone is simply
sponsoring 3.

You really seem to have a problem with Emerald Passport. Have you ever been involved with the company? Or are you just trying to promote your opportunity by slamming other deals? If you are trying to promote, there are surely better ways to do it. Don't you agree? Now, if you could come in here, and tell us that you personally, or someone you know personally, has been scammed, by somebody in Emerald Passport. AND SHOW SOME PROOF!! Then maybe what you say would be relevant. If you got it, show it. If you don't, then please, do us all a favor and Stop the negativity.
One of your links was to mentoring for free, seems to me they talk allot about relationships and positive attitude. I don't really get either of those from you. I could go on but I've spent to much time and energy with this already. Focus on the positive!

Don't you just love it when people scream "scam" and don't back it up with anything??? No proof at all
Show me how you've been burned by this so called "scam" and I might consider listening to your noise.

I am not promoting my opportunities by slamming others. I'm trying to echo caution out there for everyone.
It is just that I have a problem (and it isn't just me here) with the fact that the first two sales that I made... that I put time and money into.. do not go to me. I made the sale - I receive the commission. I do not like how one has to give over the first two sales to someone else (even if it is your immediate sponsor). This is a 2 Up plan and whilst most of the money goes to the immediate sponsor and not the company... it still doesn't go to the distributor her/himself.
"Qualify-ing" sales or not. It will take a lot more to convince someone to part with such a high amount of funds esp. since it costs more than the initial "joining fee" to make those first two sales. I don't know too many people who would be happy with such a delay on their first commission.
Re-read my original post - click on the "here" and the "Aussie 2 Up Scam" links within it.

I'm all for focusing on the positive. Go for it. Just do it without the blinders on. Just do it with common sense. I went into my present NM company blind, got a real big scare when I learnt about a few of its skeletons.. and have since learnt that it is all well and good to be positive... just remember to be positive without being blind or "married" to the company.
I just wanted to be the "other side" of the story (as such) and balance this thread by showing how the 2 Up comp. plan as provided by Emerald Passport (The Profit Masters, Power Profit System) might be a scam or very very close to one.
The proof is within the links (not my sig).
MentoringForFree is having a call on compensation plans on Saturday - I'll be listening in with interest not just because of 2 Up plans...

What proof? |
|
|
I have read the original post. I went to the links. Read them top to bottom. Here is What I see.
You say "the proof is in the links". Well, I'm still looking for that proof. In the link to mlmwatchdog, the example of the "Aussi 2 Up" states clearly that all the commissions from the first 2 sale go to the company. Now,In a differernt thread, You have already admitted that this is not the way Emerald Passport works. So why even continue to compare the two. They are not the same.
The other link takes us to a chart showing a "matrix" and the "2up". Talk about having blinders on. That's only looking at the surface. In the "matrix" example, Exactly how much cash someone going to put in their pocket for those first 3 sales. Probably not much. Then I ask the same questin for the next couple of tears. Same answer. So we've got 27 people under us. Assuming that all of these people are making their quotas and bring in their 3, which I might ad, is highly unlikely, we might be making a little scratch. And I emphisize, A LITTLE!! Take those same 27 people in Emerald Passport. What have I got? Yea, I know, I had to pass up the first 2, but let's see, that still leaves $25,000!!! Which one would you prefere? Do we still have our blinders on? Now if people had an understanding of the "2up. They would realize that, yes, you have to pass up your first 2 sales. But so do the people that they bring in. They pass up their first 2. TO YOU. Then you show them how to do it. And those 2 pass up their first 2. TO YOU. Now, that makes six sales that we got paid for, for showing our new distributors what to do. This goes down to infinity. Can anyone grasp that? I and many others would gladly pass up the first 2 knowing what that same system will do for me down the road? Blinders? Back to the little comparison. Do you honestly think that anyone is going to bring in just 3 people to EPI. People don't stop making sales after the qualify. They continue to build and teach those to build. We are not just sitting back and hoping the money comes in. We work at this. That really is a very lame comparison. The 2187 people look real good right out front there, but how many does it take to get there. I'm not trying to bad mouth anything. I just comparing facts to facts. I, like many other people see the dynamic nature of the way our pay system works. But we had to look under the surface. Or outside the box.
It does seem you've backed off your original stance I see. Now you say you have a problem with the "2up" and, might be a scam. Pretty big turn around from your original post. Do you really have an educated opinion? Or, just a bad attitude.
It's funny that people come in here and throw around bogus information, without first knowing any facts. We live in a world of information. Don't just read the cover and say you read the book. Once again, WHERE'S THE PROOF!! Has anyone been scammed by Emerald Passport? If so please step forward.

That is why there is a 2% and the rest of the world!! |
|
|
The many who fail will always challenge the efforts and the integrity of the few who succeed. Most of the world is seeking the get rich quick and when they don't find it or they don't have the true desire to put forth real effort they want to cry wolf and fail the system. That is why there will always be the 2% who do vs. the 98% who wish they could. Emerald Passport along with many other companies does not claim to be a fast fortune. What they claim is to be a successful system that once you plug into and follow with a little capital and effort can turn the odds in your favor. My advice to those pesimist out there is stop creating exuses and start creating results. Find the product and system that work for you and take action in the right direction. All systems have there justification that is why there are millionairs and then the rest of the world. Every product has a market even if that market is not one your a part of!

Some have learned from P.T. Barnum. Will you, and will it be the easy way or the hard way?
You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.
There's a sucker born every minute.

According to Spofford, the first one is frequently attributed to Lincoln, but it is good ole Phinny.
2. Perhaps Phinny quoted the banker?

Good Day.
I invite anyone and everyone to explain to me what the 'product' is and why this is not (in laymans terms) a MLM or pyramid scenario. I have yet to see anything akin to a real sales oriented business or 'product' and peeps, recruiting for a fee that is the sole product/profit to people who are 97% likely not to 'get it' and exit, leaving their moola in the up lines pockety as compensation for 'hard work' is not selling, is is a violation.
I would rather sell pencils - at least its something people need, use and its an honest days work. That is, unless, someone, again, can answer the above two questions. Then I'll send my check and jump on board.
Thanks and take care
