Money transfer to another country |
|
|
Hello!
I'm a financial newbie, so I wanted to ask you a question. Suppose I'm making a business online here in USA (ie: setting up a website to provide graphical resources) but have no bank account due to the overprotection family issues... someone from another country (ie: Germany) has a bank account, and could the money I make online go through his bank account regardless the locations we both are living in?
Thank you!

Hiii.
Thank you for your responses. I'm sorry it sounds scammy and I'm not sure whether or not I was making things clear in the first place because I thought "bank account" is kind of relevant to using services like PayPal? Like I said, I'm a newbie -- my apologizes. Yes, I sound like an idiot.
Anyhow, just to double triple fourple check: if someone from USA pays through PayPal to German's PayPal, will it just convert the money from dollars to euro itself and still go through?
That's basically what I would like to know.

I think it depends on the method they use to send you the money.
In some cases the payment requires approval from you to accept it, at which point you are prompted to accept it in the given currency or a different one.
Otherwise it will just arrive plain in whatever currency they send it. Probably dollars.
However, in your PayPal account, you should have the option of transfering some of your balance to another currency, and be able to maintain more than one balance in more than one currency.
When you accept a payment and accept it in a different currency, this will create two balances on your account in two different currencies.
Not all countries can afford... a lavish monarchy.
