Robert Kiyosaki says that the people who have fallen behind in any era are the people who have failed to utilize the tools of leverage created in their own lifetimefor others that mightve been the telephone and television etc, but for mine that is definitely cell phones and the internet. How do YOU use technology (in various ways) to make your alls Real Estate bizness more profitable?
It seems like the tools of leverage we have with technology are doubling our capacity to generate more output with less input every single year...
It's crazy!
Cell phones
Digital cameras
Podcasting
Text messaging
The Internet
3 way calling
Blogs
Personal websites
Voicemail
DVDs
Voice commands and typing
Streaming web video
RSS Feeds
Automated phone systems
Search engines
PDAs
Content management systems
Contact management systems
Instant messaging
Social networking
Collaborative source documents
Conference calls
Autoresponders
Autoresponders? It seems downright CRAZY but I'd bet everyone here is an every single day email user and EMAIL ITSELF in the first place would even be on this list!
And the list goes on?
It's true...the people who do not pursue, learn, and harness these wonderful new technologies and systems of leverage-- no matter how "hard" they "work" are likely to get left behind.
Learn to leverage tools and technology in pursuit of the life you want and if you can enthusiastically, diligently, intelligently, and cooperatively, with vision, harness even a fraction of the above (which is only a fraction of what is available) -- you WILL succeed, no matter how high your goals...
Shall we together?
How do YOU use technology (in various ways) to make your Real Estate business more profitable?

I understand your point here, sir. But just try to browse the Internet and you will see fabulous real estate sites there, advertising their products; and some have even booking capabilities on their sites.
You cannot ignore the great market value that technology can offer for your business. You're right that some have been left behind in technology; it won't matter when that technology has minimal impact on your business, but when it has tremendous effect on it then why not give it a shot?
Everything can be learned.

I agree that in this day and age you need to be able to take advantage of technology to be successful. This is because it allows you to be more effective and productive, however, we have to be carefully we don't get too caught up with technology or else we might start seeing the reverse affect

Maybe he didn't mean technology or gadgets - maybe he meant the conceptual tools of our era? Intellectual property, the Rule of Law, Interest Only loans, ARMs, leveraged financing.
