I was in a good one called Visions of Sucess.

It was a one time pay program. Quite worth it for the advertizing.

Then it disapeared. The average MLMer recruits 2 people and quits.

So if you stick it out with a good company like Watkins. And some would debait this.

Anyway, I have made money with one time pay programs but eventually people move on for the monthy residual income.

When I was working Beverly Hills International I only personally recruited 11 people. But I had a downline of 400. Okay only 80 ordered any product on a regular basis. The company made some missteps and is no longer in busisness.

If they were still in busisness I would be cashing some good commision checks.

Excell a company I never liked at all due to their excessive fees to be a rep exploded reciently.

April Wine have a song that goes "Isn't it a pitty isnt it a shame no one ever warned the boy rock and roll is such a vicious game" Well you can also sing the same thing about network marketing.

Isn't it a pitty isn't it a shame no one ever warned the boy network marketing is such a vicious game.

It is hard to recruit for watkins. I ran adverts in 11 publications and only one person joined. Then they wanted me to pay an annual fee when I had paid a life time fee. So I bailed on Watkins.

So you might find a really great company to represent and they change.

The other problem with downline builders is to many people just expect the upline to do the work.

When I joined Beverly Hills Internation I joined in a downline builder. THe upline called it "The ultimate downline". 80 people had agreed to join under me. But when it came time to actually join only 7 or so actually joined. It was at this point that I actually started to work BHI. I was a wait and see what was going to happen with the downline builder. We voted on several companies and not all want to join BHI.

Eventually my upline got disolusioned with BHI and he started to work USANA. He asked me to join that one and I declined. I was single and did not want to buy $100 worth of product a month. There are still BHI products that I miss. They had good products and a good commision plan but bad management that over expanded overseas. They got their whearhouse confinsated in Australia due to one of the Herbs being grown in a country that was not permitted to export to Australia.

So isn't it a pitty isn't it a shame no one ever warned the by network marketing is a vicious game. There is always a risk of a company going down hill. That is why I will never be exclusive again. Lotto Magic is my primary company. PPL was supposed to be my secondary. I just hate them so much for being deceptive. Companies like PPL give MLM a bad name.

I assume your talking to Tony. As I think your smart enough to figure out Lotto Magic.

But incase others are wondering. Lotto Magic splits the winnings with the club members. You get 10% of what anyone wins 7 levels down.

You also get 10% of anything you hit. As well as 10% of anything anyone you recruit wins.

Now if you never win you get 50% from personally recruited team captins. And I think 20% off team players. Don't know why anyone would just want to be a team player as they are not elligable for commisions.

One thing that bugs me about Lotto Magic is that they claim not to be MLM and I think that they are. Ofcourse in my book State Farm insurance is MLM they just don't recruit anyone.

Yes, I was talking to Tony, but...

How is State Farm an MLM? I can see how Lotto Magic might be considered one, but State Farm?

The Insurance guy is the lower level guy. He gets 10% off auto. 1% on annuity busisness and up to 40 on life insurance. These are American Family Rates but I would expect that State Farm would be similar.

District managers get an over ride on all that their underlings do. This is the 2nd level above the grunt.

Reginal managers also get a cut. Then the Vice president gets a cut.

THe vice president that gave me some "training" upon my inquiry disclosed he got a .5% off all my busisness. So he is getting .5% off thousands of people!!!!!

Not bad!!! As an average agent brings in a million in just auto premiums.

Yeah, I guess I see your point... but then again, it's still a bit of a stretch.

Is it a bit of a stretch if you have to recruit another agent to get residual commisions?

That happened to me with the first life insurance company I represented.

When they hire you they show you the income from renual commisons. Then when you hit your anaversary you learn you have to recruit and train two agents to get over rides.

I was not ammused and switched from that life company to American Family Insurance who claimed they had competive rates.

But it was not uncommon for me to be 33% higher then what people were already paying.

Then the district manager told me I should not be selling on rates. DUH when your rates are higher!!!

But service is only worth so much.
