Earning cash for Holiday shopping?  Reply with quote

Hey, peoples. I'm 15, from brooklyn, and broke. And this is a big issue because Christmas is near and i kinda have a bunch of people to buy gifts for. Is there any way that i could make a couple hundred bucks in 3 weeks? I've tried to look in my neighborhood and beyond for a job, but, apparently, nobody like to employ a 15 year old. I was hoping that there is something on the internet that i could to or participate in to get my holiday funds. If you know of something, please suggest it. I'de hate to have nothing to give this year. Please, Thank you.

Hi Jyke,

Forum posting is a growing field. If you enjoy posting on message boards and have a PayPal account, there is a good amount of work available. Posts pay between $.05 and $.25 each, although the details will depend on the available jobs.

Take a look here for one place that has posting jobs available...

That site just happens to have occasional job offers for forum posting.

I guess the idea is that there is easy money out there if you enjoy posting on different topics.

That won't work. I'm no good at posting and im pretty sure i wont be hired...
I'm an amature at flash animation. I 'vemade a few small flash animations, including a flash intro for my blog. I'm no good at Coding though. And I haven't nearly mastered flash animation. But im sure i can create simple animations, advertisements, website intoductions, and I'm just learning actionscript and to work with fireworks. Does anybody know where i can get hired to make animations?

Thanks

Wow, I knew this was gaining popularity but I had no idea there were so many people looking for paid posts, I guess I should look into this.

You said earning cash for shopping, theres a site called TreasureTrooper which gives you cash back on things you buy. It's really cool, you should check it out. And an oxymoron you should put on your list is "Military Intelligence".

More and more people are realising that blogging is one of the best ways to start your own online business. It requires minimal start up costs, you can build an impressive and loyal readership over time and once you know how to monetize your blog it can also bring in a decent income that will keep on coming even on the days when you dont update your blog.

Give yourself a monthly budget and begin purchasing items on your list as you come across a good deal. By planning ahead youll be able to maximize your savings & also save yourself a lot of stress during an already stressful time. Plus, youll be able to enjoy the holiday parties as your shopping will be complete at the beginning of December.
