This is a neat idea that can draw some traffic into your site. It reminds me of that Million dollar pixel page, or whatever it was called. <url deleted>
You buy a word, then you have a hyperlink connected to that word which people will see. If you have the money I'd give it a try. It seems like it could be a real hit.
