ING Savings? |
|
|
I am thinking of opening a ING savings account. My question is how many withdraws can I make and how much per withdraw. Also, does the account offer check writing or do I have to transfer the money back to my linked checking account?? I have searched this forum and read the ING website, but could not find the answers.
Thanks

Withdrawals: Ask them. It's a savings account, not a checking account.
Linking: Theoretically, any account, but not all of them work. You also have to mail checks with an application and electronic transfers take a week to post; very dark-age-ish.
I killed it and keep my savings in my Scottrade account.

I have one and its pretty sweet....4.15% I can withdraw as much as I want i think the minimum is $10. You can't write checks from it, you have to transfer from the savings back to a checking account linked to the ING savings, this ussally takes 72 hours...I don't think thats a big deal, I keep $1,000.00 in my checking if I need quick cash. You can do electronic tranfers to or from the account.
