Not sure what exactly you're looking for, I'm assuming you're asking about income taxes?
Single, no kids, I pay about 40% of my income on taxes (which includes federal, state, disability insurance, social security)

Income taxes are only a start. In addition there are sales taxes imposed by states, counties, cities; sales taxes by special districts to support transportation, the arts, tourism, etc.; personal property taxes on houses, cars, business assets, inventories; professional licensing fees; taxes on gasoline, alcohol, tobacco and other goods; fees for filing court cases and other legal documents; taxes and "user fees" on air travel; and, of course, inflation, which some classify as a hidden tax and others as outright theft. There are probably more that I haven't thought of; there is a tax on virtually everything in this country.
