Will  Reply with quote

I am 44 and people are telling me to have a will. I must admit it is a depressing topic to have to prepare for death but of course if something were to happen, it makes things much easier for the family.

Are there any suggestions as to what I should ask a prospective attorney. I was also told a living will, health care proxy, and power of attorney are needed.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Of course you're going to feel depressed if you think of it as preparing for death. Laughing Think of it in some other way: prudent financial planning, controlling who gets your assets and how much, protecting your assets, taking care of your family, ensuring your wishes are carried out, etc etc.
