BurnLounge  Reply with quote

Recently I was looking for an easy way to invest. I started off looking at the prices of purchasing a franchise (McDonalds: $511,000, Cold Stone Creamery 399,600, Subway 218,000). I already have quite a bit in stocks and mutual funds, but I was looking for an actual business that I could work on.

A family friend introduced me to BurnLounge. When you purchase a BurnLounge (around $480.00 a year once fees are added) you are basically buying your own digital download store. You can personalize your BurnLounge and sell the music you want. You have access to sell over 2 million different songs with no additional fees. You can also sell BurnLounge packages to others right off of your site.

If you are interested in learning more, or simply buying some online music, you can either contact me at mporterz@yahoo.com, or take a look at the site at www.burnlounge.com/PorterDigital.

Take a look at the commercial at the bottom of the page. Contact me with any questions. If you want to get started right away use the "Become a Retailer" link at the bottom of the page.

I figure, worst case scenario, I lose like $500.00. At least my Subway franchise didn't go bankrupt.

Intriguing. It's copyrighted music; how does licensing work?

BurnLounge bought all the licensing from the music companies. As a result, if you purchase a BurnLounge you get to sell around 2,000,000 different songs at no additional fees. Anyone can log onto your site and find virtually any song to buy. You can edit your BurnLounge to show the music you want to sell. In April, they are adding Movies to BurnLounge. Later they are going to add e-books, ringtones, and video games. This is the ultimate low cost investment. It is like buying a McDonald's when they first started franchising.

I so old school I like to listen to the record minus the amplification. Well, don't do this very offten; but, it can be done.

Yep, you can actually hear the music from the neadle virbrating back and forth.

Last CD purchaces were from a pawn shop. Everclear, Enya, and anohter Enya. Was it $1 or $2 each? When everyone else was "up grading" to CDs I was getting albums for $25 cents each.

I was once offered $100 for a shirt I paid $10 to aquire. It was a Yes concert shirt sold outside of the parking lot. Thus the cheap $10.

Would have sold the shirt for $40 if I had another shirt with me.
