The wost job I ever had was selling cars.

They lied on several fronts. Selling insurance wasn't all that great either. They also lied on several fronts.

I was born into a dairy farm. First work related injury was stepping on a nail feeding the calves.

Then one day I asked my dad for a day off work and he said if you want a day off go work for someone else.

Now I was asking months in advance!!!

The day I wanted off he remembered; but, the concert I wanted to go to was sold out on he day of the show when he was all "you can have the day off".

He gave me the day off and I interviewed and got a telemarketing job which I thought was great fun.

Love it until I discovered how over priced our stuff was. Then I had a hard time becaue I felt like I was ripping people off.

Thinking I was good at sales I went into insurance. That was sub minimum wage for a couple of years.

Worked for a grocery store and loved the job but hated the low pay.

Got a good paying security job but hated the work conditions.

Now I'm back to a job I love but again low pay is an issue.

Still MLM on the side. If I can get my commisions up then the low pay of my day job won't be an issue.

Ten years in the federal government. I only wish I had started before age 37. I enjoy my job even though the shift work and 16 hour days are tough. My first job was in radio. Finished college with a degree in business and then, unwisely, went back into radio for a total of 11 years. Also, did six years as a dispatcher (radio again!) for the state police.

The worst job I had was in sales at a radio station. I lasted two months before moving on. Try selling your station when you are 13th in a market of 17! After bouncing around radio stations, mostly as an announcer, that sales job is the only one where I dreaded going to work.

Now, I've been fortunate to have my own house and can provide for my family's future. Just wish I'd started earlier.

i've worked in a printing press as a working student, then on a car center where i had a problem with benefits but then it was fixed. i was laid off since the establishment is going down but at least i had my separation pay. so i moved on and my cousin referred me in the hospital she is working to as a cashier. i worked in the office facing out-patients for 6 days. that was a very difficult job. so i resigned and now i'm into internet marketing which i enjoy.. but you see, this can not be a job for a lifetime. i'm into photography so i'm thinking of this as my next job if i'm not into IM anymore. Cool

I love my job now,

I have been self employed since 2002.
I owned a video store for 3 1/2 of those years. It was fun but the money sucked.

I now do internet marketing and I love that.

Who are you kidding Tim, keeping up on all the spam in this forum is a job no matter what you get paid.

I LOVE my job and I'm retired too. My job is finding newbies who don't think you can really make money online and proving them wrong.

It's embarrassing anyone even sees any spam, but the facts of life are that spammers are located around the world, so the spam gets posted more hours than I can stay awake. Laughing

Right now I work for myself so I would say a resounding YES! And I'm gonna love it even more once I multiply my earnings through the power of residual and leveraged income. If you HATE your job there're nothing like working for yourself, even if it's just spare-time/part-time. The job market these days Is Not secure. I advise you to work on a plan B quick, fast and in a hurry for your own best interest and security.

I really love my job!  Reply with quote

I'm the only employee of BASSCO, Inc, and I'm also the President. I started my home-based business on a part-time basis 23 years ago, while serving in the military - Louisiana Army National Guard. I was full-time, with a green ID card, and a 20-year retirement plan.

Fortunately, the job became more political, until it became unbearable, so I opted out 10 years ahead of schedule. I just celebrated my 20th anniversary of full-time self-employment.

I love going to work, whether it's the 30 foot from bedroom to office, or driving 200 miles round-trip calling on clients in SW Louisiana. My present retirement plan is to pass the business on to my children, grandchildren or possible future grandchildren and retire on my 97th birthday (42 years from now).

Now, if I could just get up the nerve to ask myself for a couple days off for a fishing trip. I've already approved a 10-day vacation for myself and my wife to take a fly & drive fall foliage tour of New York and New England in early October.

I'm open for suggestions of places to eat, sites to see, and side tours for the 10 days we will be in the Adirondacks of NY, then Vermont, New Hampshirt, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticutt.

I love my job. I get to set my own schedule, follow a passion and help people. I get to know that the things I'm teaching people will help them the rest of their lives and since they'll teach it to their kids it will help future generations too. In my ideal world I'd be out of a job due to lack of need for my services but I don't see that happening so until then, I'll do what I love.

However, I've been in jobs I hated. Jobs where I was so unhappy that I'd be physically sick before going into the office. The last one was 3 years as an ops consultant for the government. Got me completely jaded and miserable so I moved on. Never again will I let myself be in a job like that. It's just not worth it even if it was great money.
