Sorry, cutemi, I've been out of college too long. I don't know anything about that kind of stuff. Have you been googling for scholarship info?

I'm not sure about all the details, but my son applied for a program that he teaches part-time to cover his tuition. Ask a financial counsler at your university.

Just a followup on my last comment, my son was accepted to that program and the University of Oregon and gets full tuition with $1,000 a month stipend for teaching part time during his time there.

This old man had several of those bonus hits recently.

I have another son who just became a Merchant Marine and secured a position as a chef on a Hawaiian Cruise Ship for the next five months. I think it will be a turning point for him to get away from the big hotels that have been exploiting him for years.

Then another one is graduating in June with a Masters in Music Performance at Northwestern in Chicago. He has decided to stay there and was accepted to the Civic Orchestra which is an after-grad opportunity to study with great musicians to focus on preparing to play with top symphonies as a career. He already plays part-time with the Illinois Philharmonic and subs for the Fort Wayne Symphony in Indiana.
