2006 US elections  Reply with quote

I'm so disgusted with corruption and lack of morals in elected politicians that I think this election I'm just going to vote against whoever the incumbent is, regardless of party affiliation.

The negative advertising here in Wisconsin is especially bad this year. And twisted. The RNC has spots that are accusing the Democratic candidate for the House of wanting to cut Social Security and Medicare. Bizarre! You can't tell who's for what anymore, other than their supporters are willing to say anything for votes.

Why don't they just cut out the advertising and buy our votes directly? I might as well vote for whichever candidate gives me the most money. I have no idea what he/she is going to do once elected anyway. They never do what they promise they'll do.

What are your thoughts on the 2006 election?

Republicans are toxic and no longer work for the benefit of our nation or its people.

We need a functional, conservative government.

Can't argue with that. But who fits that description?

That's the question of the year.

We're still better off with the Republicans.

It's that sort of entirely partisan occult thinking that will insure pain for my children and their children.

I encourage you, Colyer, to leave your Limbaugh, talk radio, morning zoo mentality and begin to educate yourself so that you are fit to cast a proper vote.

I will evaluate ALL options and vote based upon policies that have been proven to work by the litmus tests of merit, morality and results. Colyer, I encourage you to follow my example.
