I make more money than you. I have more fun than you. I am just better than you. Did you just purchase a 1.4 million dollar mansion? I did!

"money is the root of all evil"

Shocked can I say that on a financial board? Shocked

"all things in moderation"

I guess that applies to money, too. Wink

It's fine to be rich, if you got it honestly, and if you still have a life. I just can't see shoving it in everybody's face, even if that's just a come-on for a scam website.

I'm sorry but I'm really starting to get sick of people posting scam crap like this. If they aren't smart enough to make money without scamming then they aren't fit to live with the rest of us. I just had to say it.

All right, all right, calm down!! Laughing We're on the case....the link was deleted before you read the thread. Unfortunately, it's not possible to filter out spammers BEFORE they register and make their first post. I'll bet you guys would be surprised at how many you don't see because they're gone before anyone sees them. Wink

I left that one up (except for the link) strictly because it was so egregious; I though somebody would get a laugh out of it. Cool

Hm... "Fast get rich-schemes" are possible, but they become real TOO RARELY... Like become lucky in lottery Smile Or to have well-growing business...
Of course, if to do nothing, just sitting - it's impossible... IMHO...

I wasn't smashing the board, I was just saying I don't understand why people would rather put up crap like that then to try to make money honestly. I know there is no way to stop posts like that. It just seems like they would get discouraged because they know what the result will be.

It's cool. Wink I think they do it because they're lazy; also because just enough suckers get caught to make it look like it's worth trying.

No, because it is WRONG!

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

Rolo is correct. It's the motive, not the object of the motive, that is the evil. Money is no more inherently evil than broccoli. Laughing

It was a use of literary license for humorous effect. Wink

... and you were correct, sir! And, btw, I agree with your assertion of broccoli as a more likely root of evil. I might add brussels sprouts, as well. ACK!

Never did like broccoli. I always thought it was too smug.

I learn by talking. Most agree I never stop learning.

Mmm, I love brocolli - I'll second the sprouts though!

I think that the spammers will soon go on the correct path once they realise they will not make much money being dishonest and that their time is better spent being honest.

Well I hope they do.
