Tidbits had a top 10 list of all time selling artist according the the Recording Industry of America for cumulative US album sales.

It had a few surprizes in the "Cumulative US album" sales according to Recording Industry of America.

Garth Brooks beating out Led Zeplin at number 3.

The Beatles at number 1 was not a surprise.

Elvis at number 2. I would have expected him to be lower.

AC/DC at number 10 as there are so many had rock bands that I think have more talent.

And surprisingly the Rolling Stones did not make the top 10 list.

At least Pink Floyd made the list.

Perhaps this thread could have been titled a few bands better then AC/DC.

Well at least the Spice Girls didn't hit the top 10. Though I like them better then Elton John and Barbara Strisand(sp)

The Eagles were a tad of a surprise. Not a total surprize. Could have seen them in the 8th, 9th or 10th place. I think the Eagles were 5th. Pink Floyd was I believe 7th.

What about Dread Zeppelin?

There's nothing quite like mixing ZEP, Elvis and Reggae... Shocked Shocked Cool

I head Dred Zeppelin on the radio a while back and I liked the couple of trax that they played.

Be intresting to find a longer list of the top 100. I'm real courious as to who is in the 11th slot.

Guess only 40K copies were produced for Deep Purple's latest recording.

Sorry, But I am not surprised that the Rolling Stones didnt hit the top 10. To me just a bunch of old guys who just dont know when to quit. Even if they still rake in the money. Trust me Mick you are memorable but let it go, than I am sure more people will place them in the top 10.
