I just have this aversion to paying money for something I only plan to use once. BUT....considering all the time to reformat and reinstall, I guess my time is worth at least that much. OTOH, I suspect I might have corrupted some files when I restored from an ASR backup because some things just haven't been working quite right. A reformat and reinstall should take care of it.....IF that's they problem.
Too busy right now to do either, though. So I just live with it.

System restores and the like are just to get your stuff so you can reformat/reinstall.
PartitionMagic or DriveCopy doesn't do the trick with a trial? Mine boots from two floppies.

Free trials aren't available from the publisher any more. I'd have to get it from a third party, and as I explained above, I don't trust them.
