mortgage rates/FICO scores  Reply with quote

Does anyone know the difference in rates for a person with a FICO score of 680, compared to one of 720.

When you say rates, are you talking about mortgage rates?

There is no set rule if that's what you mean, but if you are asking on average I've seen this one that tells you in general the rate

My lender doesn't look at the fico score as long as it's above 500. The rate is based on the downpayment or equity.

Fico Scores  Reply with quote

Creditors use various factors while determining the rates on the credit applied for. The factors may vary from one creditor to another. hence it is quite difficult to make out the exact different in the rates for a person having FICO score of 680 and another with a score of 720.
