Yay! I just turned 21! Anyone have any favorite mixed drinks they can tell me how to make? I am a complete idiot, I never participated in underage drinking so have no clue how to start. How about those special drink glasses, worth getting them?

Stay away from drinking It just causes hang overs. That's just my opinion.

Stick with simple. Vodka and soda w/lime. It'll always be classy and is exceptable at just about any occassion. Good for youngins and oldins.

Everyone’s tastes are different. I recommend starting with small quantities and drink a little of everything. If you are too wasted to remember it defeats the purpose of trying new things, unless the whole point is to get wasted as fast a possible, which I don't recommend for too many reasons to go into.
Of course this doesn't take into account acquired tastes. I personally grew to like certain beers and liquors and despise others.
I wouldn't bother with purchasing any bar equipment until you know what your poison of choice will be. I like my beer, shots and mixed drinks in different kinds of glasses, to ensure I get the proper doses of each. For instance drinking strait liquor out of a beer or mixed drink glass is asking for trouble.

I agree. Just make sure you get the good Vodka. There is nothing worse than the cheap stuff.
