Maybe you can sell partner shares. Like many business do when they first start. They don't have enough money to start or do marketing so they gather those people that might be able to help their business grow and sell them partner shares. Maybe 100 shares or 1000shares and each costing some $$ so you can gather the money that you need to start and in the agreement that the partners needs to agree that they'll do what they can do to help grow that business...perheps martketing...(letting their downlines or their friends know about the business.) Of course you have to remember that these partners were there for you from the beginning so that you have to remember to pay them with the shares that they own and think of it as partnership business~! good luck~!Hope this all made sense. Since I am in hurry... Wink

Do you have the invention patented yet? If not, that is going to cost somewhere around a minimum of $5,000 I think. You can't forget about that expense. My grandma actually came up with a really good idea for an invention and wants me to figure out how to get it going, unfortunately, the patenting is going to be a road block I think.

Hey, thats for all your advice. I want to find thoses people to sell the shares to, but i don't know where to find them. i don't know enough people to really spread the word by myself.

Patening the idea is going to cost alot, but i don't think i will need to do that. i am just trying to make it anf before it is released to the public then i will patent it. it is too much up front cost to see it fail, if it does.

Do you think making a website and advertising that is a good way to get people in?

Thanks all

Do you have a written business plan? If you don't. This should be your first step.

If your going to go after people to buy shares. They are going to want to see a detailed business plan. This is a lof of work up front, but it will map out where you are today, and the direction you want your company to go.

As in finding people. Once you have a business plan in place. Talk to anyone who walks past you. If you have something of value. You should talk to everyone.

Good Luck.

There are several things that you should consider when you start a small business like choosing a good products that you want to sell and promote, creating an effective business and of course using good marketing strategy.

Since your product is an invention, I suggest that you start off with the patent first before even starting any business investments. Protection of your invention should come first, or else, you would not even have anything to begin with. When your product is already fully protected, then that is the time you plan what your direction would be.

Hi!

You can apply for a provisional patent first, then find some investors and/or partners.

Or go to this link:

Very informative for inventors like you.
