I feel your pain.
I know what it's like to have a 40,000 USD tax bill amongst other various debts and the best advice I can offer you is find something you believe in and know can work for you. Trust your instincts.
Also make sure there is a big enough market for what you plan on selling and that the profit margin will allow you to attain your goal.
In short, do a LOT of homework, and talk to a LOT of SUCCESSFUL people. Find out from people who have come up with the amount of money you're looking to tackle and ask them how they did it. I think that will lead you to the highest probability of success in your mission. "Success leaves clues." The succesful people you talk to will often share these with you.
Stear clear from those that have not done anything big, as they may just tell you you are wasting your time, or to go do something smaller and more conservative.
Have confidence and take action...MASSIVE action...
The internet is a wonderful place as for a relatively low cost you can reach millions of people.

You need 10,000 (sorry, I can't make that symbol, don't know how) in one month! I doubt you'll be able to do it without a lot of preparation, and a lot of time. Or, you could start an online business that fills an unfilled niche. Try that.

Here I can suggest you some ways to earn extra money….
Sell on eBay. Books, CDs, unused sports or exercise equipment, clothing, novelty items -- people buy all kinds of things. Even if you're selling several small items, the money can add up. Just make sure the buyer, not you, pays the cost of delivery.
Put clothes on consignment. This is an particularly good way to get rid of clothing like fancy dresses, but anything in good condition can be put on consignment. You share the money from the sale with the consignment shop, but it's an easy way to squeeze some money out of clothes that would otherwise just take up closet space.
