hey
i was just wonderin if it was possible to get like a virtual credit card, where u deposit say £100 on to it, it gives you all the details of the card, and you can use it to buy things online.
that way, if you apply to any scams they wouldnt have access to your real card...
if any1 knows anything or any sites please let me know.

Some credit cards have a security feature where, any time you need it, you can get a special credit card number only good for a one time purchase. But I have never done that, so I don't know if there is any way to set a dollar limit on it.
Don't think that a gift card with a limited balance will do, because I have heard of people over spending the balance, and whoever originally bought the card gets charged for the over use.

i got paypal buyer credit, never gaveme a physical card, but it is the same thing. $500 line bad rates though
