Hello folks, I am a teen very interested in investing. I am also interested in real estate and starting a small business. I come from a low middle-class family, and my dad was recently laid off, and my mom is a elementary school teacher, so I am not rolling in money so to speak, but I do have a roof over my head and food in the fridge so I cant complain to much. My main interest is in becoming finacially well-off, to the point of being able to retire whenever I want by the age of 25 or so without having to worry about finances, I know its a large goal, but I have a tendency to dream big.(Thats perhaps my smallest dream:)) I hope you guys can help me achieve my goals, I figure if I start early, I can get down and dirty, make mistakes, and then learn from them while my peers are still partying and worrying about gettinga girlfriend.
Hoping to Achieve, Looking Forward to Learning From You

If you want to become financially independent then the first thing you should do is read this book: "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert T. Kiyosaki.
really good book.

All I can suggest is save a little each month -- put it away -- forget about it. Compund interest will give you a sizable amount. When you have enough in your savings look into stocks, mutual funds, etc.... Or buy mutual funds little by little monthly. I hope this helps.

Here's a great website that I just recently acquired. For someone in your position you might want to check out. It's a good low-cost "investment" and grows exponentially... Martello Solutions
