In order to avoid mistakes, I suggest you to have semeone who knows all the details about cars. Also, make sure you get a full history of the car. As for customs broker, I recommend this website, check it out http://clearit.ca/

Find a good, honest independent mechanic, ask friends if you do not already have one, and take the car to them BEFORE you buy it. Have them do a "buyers check" to find problems!

What I do is go to the library and pick up the April edition of consumer reports and it list all used to be a calls and gives you factual information on repairs and how reliable each car make is Also you should always bring used car to mechanic to have them look over it before you purchase it
