RV dilemma |

Need advice, I recently bought a used travel trailer that after 4 month started having issues. The dealer is offering to trade it in for a new one but ill be losing $4k from the old trade in. Should I just pay $250 to fix the old and worry about future resale or just give into the new deal and pay $100 more a month but have piece of mind?

I've owned two travel trailers and my question for you is why are you contemplating trading in your RV to a dealer? Private sale will bring you the best price. My last camper I only lost $2,000 on from it's brand new purchase because I kept it immaculate and that was more then reasonable. As for buying a new camper, what's wrong with your current trailer?

The old RV started leaking from the front corner of the roof and I believe the dealer knew about it.

I have had several RV's an occasional leak is common, and easy to fix, so I would not trade in for another one when it will cost you $1200. more a year, verses a couple hundred dollar fix.
