For the sake of just doing it, creating app don't cost more than 50 bucks. But for getting some result such as money, popularity there will be more investment to it. It's not just realeasing it and it's done. You have to deal with advertising, customer feedback and services, updates, competition, etc.

Hi,
There are a lot of factors which can affect cost, that's difficulty level of the app, developers' country (as salary in different countries has a big difference).
In my opinion, try to use offshoring services..
This means to hire offshore developers. In some countries like Ukraine, you will get the high quality with cheaper cost compared with Europe.
