My brother has a small restaurant. Their food is great but their space is really small so a great part of their profit comes from their delivery. The thing is, they only accept COD. I told him he needs to get mobile credit card machines so his customers has more payment options. Am I wrong in advising him this?

Hi, a restaurant is a very good business and you are correct! It could be more profitable if your brother will consider another way of accepting payments. Have you heard about a mobile payment system? It is the newest way of processing payments by a mobile device. You should let him inquire about the details. Users are giving a good feedback about it.

If it is available in his area, a service like grubhub.com allows customers to order directly from their website and process the payment through them. There are a lot of these types of services out there. I've never used it as client, but we order food from there frequently.
